WARRANTY

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

Root Manufacturing offers a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship to the original purchaser of its products. At our option, we will repair, replace or refund the initial purchase price for any defective product covered by this warranty. The return procedure described below must be followed to be eligible for warranty coverage.

The following are excluded from this warranty:

  1. Normal wear and tear.
  2. Damage caused by failure to follow instructions.
  3. Damage caused by improper assembly.
  4. Misuse or abuse.
  5. Modification or unauthorized repair.
  6. Scratches, abrasion, chemical or water damage to the finish.
  7. Tears, indentations or abrasions in the upholstery.
  8. Cosmetic wear of ropes that does not affect their function.
  9. Shipping damage. Products must be inspected upon receipt and any damage noted on the freight company's bill. Concealed damage must be reported within 24 hours to Root Manufacturing and the freight company. Save all packaging for damaged items.
  10. Missing components must be identified within 30 days from initial shipment.

Return Procedure

A reasonable effort will be made to determine warranty responsibility in the field. In the event a product must be returned to determine warranty responsibility, you will be responsible for the return freight costs and loss or damage during shipment. Therefore we recommend you return product in its original packaging. You must also obtain a return authorization number before returning product to us. Call 303-532-0500 or 1-877-372-8811 to receive return authorization. Root Manufacturing does not accept responsibility for returned product until it is properly authorized, identified and received at our dock. We will promptly make warranty determination and adjustment as indicated in the policy above.

Limitation of Liability

This document is our exclusive warranty and is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for any purpose. In no event shall Root Manufacturing be liable for incidental, consequential or punitive damages.
