The Root unibody carriage system provides one of the smoothest rides of any reformer made today. The strong unibody steel design eliminates torque and deflection found in wood carriage systems. Eight wheels are attached to the carriage which carry the load and maintain perfect tracking. Every carriage is individually adjusted to the frame by our craftsmen to insure perfect alignment.

The upholstered deck is hinged to the steel carriage. This feature allows you to use a full mat, or modify the reformer into a reformer/tower combination unit or reformer/full cadillac combination unit later on without the expense of replacing the carriage. You can convert from reformer work to mat work in less than a minute.
