Root was born out of our drive to create products using quality design, construction and eco-friendly materials. With over a decade as one of the country’s largest manufacturers of Pilates equipment, Root incorporates extensive client feedback in producing an exquisitely crafted iteration of the classic Joseph Pilates design. Using modern materials selected for durability and performance, Root fulfills the demand of discriminating teachers for a product that will provide a superior experience in the studio environment.

ROOT PRACTICES A GREEN PHILOSOPHY

At Root we employ methods, which minimize our impact on the environment. In addition to recycling, using sustainable materials, and reducing our energy demand, we reduce VOC emissions by utilizing waterborne lacquers and powder-coated finishes.

Our equipment utilizes the finest sustainable materials available. Bamboo, Northern Red Oak, and Hard Maple are sourced from suppliers who use sustainable forestry practices. Stainless steel poles are extremely durable and eliminate the need for the toxic plating process used in chroming. Finally, Root equipment is hand crafted with meticulous care to last a lifetime.
